Dazzling Diamonds

Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week might be a little while back, but diamonds are forever and these dazzling pieces certainly still deserve attention.

During Paris Haute Couture Week, De Beers launched the latest high jewellery collection inspired by the serene beauty of the lotus flower.

The Lotus by De Beers High Jewellery Collection captures the extraordinary lifecycle of this symbolic bloom in pristine diamond form. Each of the five stages in its journey towards the sunlight are brought to life in beautiful designs named Awakening, Blooming, Flourishing, Radiating and Soothing Lotus.

Our Boucheron chrush

In the streets of Paris at Place Vendôme we completely fell in love with this amazing gold cape from Boucheron named Cape de Lumière. It was showed during Haute Couture week in Paris last week.

A lot of interesting and always mind-blowing jewellery was shown, but what stole our attention was this golden beauty which had taken 900 hours in the workshop with a 81,61 cts Citrine and paved with diamonds.

“It was created on a dressmaker’s dummy to ensure perfect fit, drape and suppleness and its element are interconnected by a women mesh of golden thread. From the chiseled cut of the overall piece to the delicacy of its twisted chains inset with diamionds, this Mantle of Light stretches the limits of jewellery-making further than ever” Boucheron – http://www.boucheron.com/en/the-creations/high-jewelry/26-vendome/porte-couture.html
